At this time we have transitioned into a walk-in clinic only and do not have any virtual or telemedicine services.

Our physicians provide family medicine and primary care for common symptoms, including: 

• Answers to specific health questions
• Lab requisitions and specialist referrals
• Prescription renewals with free delivery
• Doctors notes for work or school ($30 fee applicable)

Our services are not intended for medical emergencies.

If you believe you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or proceed to your nearest emergency room.

Yes, our care services are covered under OHIP for all Ontarians with a valid Ontario health card.

When you register for your appointment, you will be asked to provide your OHIP number and version code. 

Yes, all of our physicians are licensed doctors and registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).

Yes! The services offered by GTA Med Clinic are PHIPA compliant. 

The Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA) is privacy legislation in Ontario that provides a set of rules for the collection, use, and disclosure of personal health information (PHI).

The purpose of the Act is to protect personal health information across the health sector and provide individuals with greater control over how their information is collected, used, and disclosed.

We provide prescription renewals with free home delivery. 

If you reside within the GTA prescriptions will be delivered the same day.

All other deliveries, outside of the GTA, will be delivered within 1 business day.

Yes, we do provide doctors notes for missed school or work. However, notes are not covered by OHIP and an additional fee of $30 will apply.
